The 2nd round starts at the entrance in the park territory behind Sigulda 7th Infantry Regiment monument and continues until the junction of Ievu Street (turn to “Sīļi”) and Ozolu Street. The renovation of the street cover, construction of rainwater drainage system (ditches), construction of lighted pedestrian walkway and bicycle path along the street on the side of lake shore as well as installation of public transport stops and recreation places is planned in this stage of the street. Whereas the 3rd round works are planned in the stage from the junction of Ozolu Street and Ievu Street up to the city border in the direction of Kolberģis. The reconstruction of street cover and putting in order of rainwater drainage system – ditches – is planned in this stage of the street.
The 2nd and 3rd round construction works cover a stage of approximately 2 km, which will be divided into 3 stages during the construction works. In order to ensure the construction process, movement of vehicles will be organised on one driving lane with traffic lights. Drivers are kindly asked to observe the traffic signs located at the site of construction works!
