The 2nd round of works at Cēsis City Stadium is intended to construct a stands building with changing rooms within the already developed construction design of Cēsis City Stadium. It is planned to create a building for changing rooms and a stands building as two separate volumes. It is intended to develop the construction design in a way which enables the construction of these buildings separately and independently from each other.
The changing room building is to be constructed from monolite reinforced concrete with 300 mm thick monolite band-shaped foundations. This is planned to be a one-storey building, whereas an elevator, integrated into the building and constructed up to the highest platform of stands building, is planned to be fastened to additional structures. The building will have a flat roof with a parapet and two layers of bitumen roll material.
The construction of the stands building, on the other hand, shall use monolite reinforced concrete structures with additional metal beams to create the roof overhang. The roof will form a 10-degree slope and will have a covering of profiled metal sheets.
The construction works of the dressing room building will involve construction of 26 separate rooms for different purposes (showers, dressing rooms, technical premises, storage rooms etc.) as well as a lift which will connect the dressing room building with the stands building and enable persons with movement disorders to access the stands.
It is planned to construct six rows of benches on the stands, where each row will consist of 44 benches. The upper part of the stands building is intended for two separate rooms for storage of equipment, a delimited room for commentators, and a TV platform is planned below with an ascent from the first platform.
