A time capsule is buried in the foundations of the future Space Exploration Centre

Today, 24 November, a time capsule was ceremoniously buried in the very center of the new building to leave a message to future generations about the construction of the Space Exploration Centre in Cēsis.

The message in the special space rocket-shaped capsule wished the people of Cēsis and every guest of the Centre to unleash their curiosity, broaden their horizons and educate themselves, so that the first Latvian in the distribution would be a Cēsis citizen. Any visitor to the Centre will also be able to place messages and wishes for future generations in the capsule, which will be embedded with a special memory card that will be linked to the Space Exploration Centre's electronic guestbook.
