Congratulations to our colleague, restorer Ieva Silava, who received a high award in the competition “Woman in Architecture, Construction, Design” organized by the Building Design and Construction Council truly recognizing her contribution to the industry.

Ieva has worked on such construction of national importance as the Riga Castle, Mrs. Hoijer's Hotel in Liepaja, Sigulda New Castle, 5 Alberta Street, Riga 1st Hospital, Saeima Building, Latvian National Museum of Art, Dzintari Concert Hall, etc.

Responsibility, understanding, knowledge and infinite patience - this could characterize Ieva's work.

The closing event of the competition-forum WOMAN IN ARCHITECTURE, CONSTRUCTION, DESIGN 2020 took place on 8 July 2021 in the Small Mezotne Castle. Patron of the forum - Māra Lāce, director of the Latvian National Museum of Art, the forum has been taking place for 5 years in a row.
