RERE Grupa will continue reconstruction of Mežaparks Open-air Stage

The construction works of the first stage of the second round of Mežaparks Open-air Stage will be performed by the general partnership “LNK RERE” for EUR 40.1 billion.

The Procurement Committee of the Property Department of Riga City Council today adopted a decision concerning the procurement on the second round first stage construction works of Mežaparks Open-air Stage. Two tenders were received in the previously announced procurement from GP “LNK RERE” and LLC “Arčers”.

After examination of received tenders, the Procurement Committee made a decision to conclude the contract with GP “LNK RERE” for the total amount of EUR 40,123,245.97, including VAT. The cost of this tender was EUR 928,444 lower than what was offered in the tender of the other candidate. The tendered cost was also EUR 105,358 lower than the amount specified in the control estimate of authors (architects).

The Chairman of the City Property Committee of Riga City Council Oļegs Burovs said that the Property Department of Riga City Council plans to conclude the contract with the constructor GP “LNK RERE” in mid-August because this stage of construction has to be implemented before the Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival starts.
